As the temperatures begin to cool and the leaves transform colors, there’s no better time to enjoy everything Roxborough has to offer than the Fall. Cozy neighborhood charm, scenic outdoor adventures, and plenty of seasonal activities right around the corner from Woodmere Apartments brings that feeling of fall into full swing.
Explore the Beauty of Wissahickon Valley Park
One of the greatest perks of living at Woodmere Apartments is being so close to the stunning Wissahickon Valley Park. Fall is arguably the best time to visit, with miles of trails lined by colorful foliage and crisp autumn air.
Take a hike along Forbidden Drive, enjoy a morning walk with your dog, or pack a picnic and spend the afternoon surrounded by nature. The park's breathtaking scenery makes it a favorite destination for local photographers, hiking lovers, and outdoor enthusiasts alike throughout the season.
Take Advantage of Outdoor Activities Before Winter Arrives
Fall offers the perfect balance of comfortable temperatures and beautiful scenery. Go for a bike ride along the Schuylkill River Trail, visit a local pumpkin patch like Maple Acres Farm, or simply enjoy a walk with your pumpkin spice latte through the peaceful neighborhood.
If you’d prefer to stay closer to home, our Clubhouse at Summit Park has several fun events coming up this fall. Catch an Eagles game while enjoying our food and drink specials, decorate and give out candy during the Trunk or Treat on 10/17, or join one of our arts & crafts classes to take home a festive DIY. One of the best parts of life at Woodmere is having plenty of festive activities right in your backyard. Check out the full events schedule here.
